Electric awning troubleshooting.

Take some time inspecting the awning for any signs of warping weather damage rusting tearing in the awning fabric itself or the motor overheating and working too hard. Some awnings plug into an outlet inside the home while others source their electricity directly from the mains without an outlet. There are several problems that can cause the awning not to work correctly. And now it just clicks and won t retract.

Ensure that the awning s power supply is properly connected. In some cases it can be at the motorhome end of the setup. If this is hard to do it could be the strut. Remove the bad motor and replace it with the new one.
