Emt would be fine too but dealing with 10 sticks of conduit in an attic may be a challenge.

I was able to bring 12 2nm from the 20a breaker at.
My attic is non accessible so i know for a fact that i must protect the romex with guard strips or bore holes 1 25 from the face of the joists when running perpendicular to the joists and when i run parallel i must staple the romex to the face of the joists.

The tubing itself is not threaded like rmc and imc.
Emt is also called thin wall conduit because it is thin and lightweight especially compared to rmc.

As long as it isn t very accessible up there so physical damage isn t a concern cable or flex conduit seems easier.
